A VINTAGE 18CT GOLD OMEGA SEAMASTER DE VILLE GENTLEMAN'S WRISTWATCH.

Objekt hos Auctionet – samlat på Allarop.

circa 1950s, circular silvered dial, raised gilt batons, gilt hands and black minute markers, centre seconds hand, date aperture, with Seamaster 'Seahorse' insignia relief to case back, on a later 18ct yellow gold textured link bracelet strap with clasp, NK, London 1972, (strap only approximately 35g), case 34mm, 72.1g gross, with a modern (not original) red Omega box.
Notes: vendor purchased this lot from a jewellers in Peterborough Arcade in the mid 1950s and has owned it ever since, though not used it since the 1990s.

Skick:

in working condition however the crown is damaged and missing - the automatic rotating winder spins well though allowing the mechanism to wind, but the hands and date cannot currently be set.
The case, glass, and strap are all well worn with plenty of scratches all over, the strap is broken off one end at the lugs but the clasp still works.
Overall in poor condition but with some restoration and servicing could be a lovely vintage wristwatch.
