In 1967, at the apex of the "Flower Power era, The Beatles company "Nems" commissioned the famed photographer Avedon. He shot four psychedelic portraits of the Beatles, John Lennon with kaleidoscope eyes,. The polarized colors and distorted exposure echoed the band’s hallucinogenic “Sgt.
