A socialist who favoured reform, he called for the creation of cooperatives in order to guarantee employment for the urban poor. This work, first published in 1841, was an attack on the Monarchy of July, a liberal constitutional monarchy in France under Louis Philippe I starting with the July revolution of 1830 and ending with the revolution of 1848. It began with the overthrow of the conservative government of Charles X and the House of Bourbon and was dominated by wealthy bourgeoisie and numerous former Napoleonic officials.</p> Skick: <p>Bruks- och åldersrelaterat slitage.</p>
